Since 1999, ART has been one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality optical motion tracking systems for virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR). Typical applications include visualizations and optimizations in design and production steps, motion capture for ergonomic studies, and teaching and research projects at academic institutions using powerwalls, CAVEs, and HMDs. In this area of "marker-based tracking," we offer not only tracking systems and the DTRACK tracking software, but also our selection of unique interaction and navigation devices, as well as accessories such as flysticks and finger tracking, which are specifically designed for high-precision operation in VR/AR applications.
A particular strength of ART is the customization of products for niche markets, such as a specially designed optical tracking solution to minimize disruptive light influences in multi-sided projection systems and optimized camera sizes for limited tracking areas such as in moving vehicles and aircraft cockpits.
